I started this blog in 2012 during my MA in Applied Language Studies for TESOL to reflect on my modules, my readings, new insights I’ve had…
The idea actually came out of one of my modules, “Second Language Acquisition: Perspectives for teachers”. For that module, students were required to write a blog on their readings, classes, insights they have, questions they are puzzling about, and to comment on each other’s posts in order to help each other. I liked that idea so much that I decided to create a blog for the whole course where I can post on all modules I take.
Many of my older blogs relate to my modules. Now I’ve been working as an EAP teacher for over a year, and I decided to resume blogging to reflect on my development as an MA TESOL graduate, a teacher and generally an EAP practitioner.
